What Oven thermometer would be best for FIMO clay?

Saturday, February 18th, 2012

I see there is an actual FIMO official thermometer.
Is that one I should go for or can I just go for any good thermometer? Thanks.
Also what would be the best way to make the best use of the thermometer?

Thanks to all who reply.

Can you help me calibrate my oven?

                    Wednesday, January 11th, 2012

I live at 5,400 ft, so my thermometer reads 200 F when water is boiling. Applying this to a rates table/proportion, when my oven is set at 350 F, the thermometer should read 330 F degrees, correct? The internal thermometer reads 350 F, so my oven is running 20 degrees too hot, correct?

I think I’m just confusing myself.
                    Thank you for your help!
